Classic Leather Riding Crop – Honour
I received this riding crop from Honour in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. They have not influenced my opinion or thoughts.
I like to start with the company’s product description, i feel this gives you an idea of how my review of the product compares.
Classic leather riding crop with metal tipped handle
Okay so this is not exactly a product description, in fact there does not seem to be a lot of information about this riding crop at all on Honours website. Even the fields marked length and width are empty. A little hard to decide if you want to purchase the item without a little more detail to go on.
The leather riding crop arrived in a discreet long tube, like one in which a poster would arrive. At first i wasn’t sure what to expect. I have a few other crops and they turned out to be smaller than i had envisioned. This crop however is a great size. Exactly what you would expect, just like a horse riding crop.
The length of the crop is 27 inches, and the width is 1cm.
The crop itself seems to be made to a very high good quality standard and has a good deal of flex to it. Taking a close look at the stitching of the crop it all seems to be held together well with no obvious frays or areas which might seem weaker.
The handle is 7 inches in length and it has a small metal end which tops off the crop, the handle also has a cord attached to it so that the crop can be held more securely to avoid it slipping from your hand during use.
So, from first impressions i was very happy and so was KD, time to get a play session set up and test this crop out.
Using the Riding Crop
All set up and ready to go, i was excited to see what this riding crop was capable of, all too often i find crops that don’t pack the sting i had been hoping for. Normally we would use crops for punishment if i am being a little too bratty or sometimes i just like something with a little more sting.
If you are anything like me and you love the sharp sting across your ass, then this crop definitely does that. The design of the crop and the flex it has allows for a really good whipping motion, and the small 1 cm end makes for a really strong sharp sting on contact. Depending on how much force you put into it, this crop also leaves you with some really cool marks. I really like when i can still feel the effects of my previous play session for a long time even into the next day or evening. There is something about sitting down on a sore derriere that appeases me. In fact, when looking for a good crop this is one of the main things i look out for.
This classic leather riding crop definitely passed my test for this, i had some really nice stingy marks and the feelings were noticeable all through the next day. (excited face).
What’s more is that when using this crop, it makes such an awesome sound, inserts whipping sounds, whilst swishing it about like a ninja.
I would have to say that this riding crop would be better suited to those who like a little more pain than most, it’s not really for the light-hearted, and even a seasoned veteran like myself was shocked at first by the pain it managed to inflict. (even bigger excited face).
KD found the riding crop easy to hold and use, he was pleased at the marks it left and was excited with the way in which it made me squirm and cry out. He said he thinks that this is going to be a very handy crop to have around, especially on days when i am being a little brattier. Like him i agree that on bratty days this will definitely bring me back in line.
The classic riding crop from Honour is made from good quality materials, which seem to be hard-wearing, i feel the crop will last a long time before needing replaced.
The handle is easy to grip and the extra strap to keep it from slipping out of your hand is a great feature that i was happy to see.
I also felt that the crop was a great size at 27 inches with a great amount of flex, the crop produces a really good sharp sting, which could be felt for a long time after use, and the marks and sounds it makes made me one very happy sub.
Value for Money
I have to say i was shocked to discover that this classic leather riding crop from Honour was ONLY £12.50 with free delivery in the UK. I mean i was already impressed by its quality and performance but at this price i must call it a bargain. This crop is not going to break the bank or fall apart within a week, so by my standards that makes this product great value for money and well worth every penny.
|Packaging:||(5.0 / 5)|
|Quality:||(4.5 / 5)|
|Performance:||(5.0 / 5)|
|Value for money:||(5.0 / 5)|
The reason i gave this classic leather riding crop 4.5 stars out of 5 for quality, was because i compared it with another crop i own and i felt that the leather used on my previously owned one does seem slightly better. I should however mention that crop cost me £19.99.
