Doctor Whale Review

Doctor Whale from Sistalk Review

I was given the Doctor Whale monster from Sistalk free of charge in exchange for my honest unbiased review. Sistalk have in no way influenced my opinions.

It has taken me slightly longer than normal to write up this review, not only have I been down with the flu over the last few weeks, but I also needed a little longer to sum this product up.

The product itself is marketed to be a female pleasure product but also for health purposes. The idea behind the Sistalk MonsterPub is that it has been designed to help women train their Kegel muscles.

Given that by trade, so to speak I am a personal trainer/fitness Instructor I was very intrigued as to how Doctor Whale was going to work.

Anyway, let’s get on with it.

I will start with Sistalk’s Product Description

First Impressions

I was excited to receive my Doctor Whale, after having a few problems with delivery. This was the second one sent out to me.

The Doctor Whale was well packaged and is just as cute as can be. It came with a USB charger and even its own little drawstring bag which you can see pictured in the main image of this review.

The product itself is very lightweight at just 63g, and is small too measuring only 3.85″ in length and 1.41″ in diameter.

The Doctor Whale is made from silky soft medical grade silicone and is free from Phthalates, latex and BPA.

There are 2 other variations of this product that you can choose from called Mister Devil (Pink) and Master Godzi (Green) Although these versions do not have any tail fins, they do have their own features.

My first impressions of the Doctor Whale where positive and I was keen to give it a try.

I won’t lie I have been dreading writing this part of my review, the product itself is so complex I don’t think I could sum up the full operating instructions, luckily, I have a link to the user manual that I can use in this section to save me rambling on. You can read the full user manual HERE.

When I first tried to turn on the Doctor Whale, I won’t lie I was stumped. I just couldn’t find the on switch, luckily for me KD came to the rescue yet again and found it located at the bottom end of the tail. As pictured opposite.

The Doctor Whale has an App in which you can connect to which opens up a lot more options for operating the product.

It’s on the App that you will find a section for training your Kegel muscles. The App will assist you in doing this with full instructions for each stage.

Now I have quite a bit to say about the Kegel training side of this toy. The concept behind why this Kegel trainer will work is spot on. With all muscles in the body vibrations can help tone and this is the principle behind the Sistalk monsters. By inserting this into the vagina and using vibration as well as squeezing this should help build the Kegel muscle quicker than other methods.

However, I did come across a few major issues with the Doctor Whale, specifically the Kegel training side of things.

My Kegels have always been very strong, I have had four children and have no problems with any leakage of urine at all. Since I was 16 I have done Kegel exercises most days and this has obviously really helped me. The reason I mention this, is that I feel that if you already have strong Kegels then this product might not be for you.

I had a really hard time using the Doctor Whale as a Kegel trainer. Now let me go into this a little and explain in more detail.

When I inserted Doctor Whale and tried to connect to the app it would not connect, I tried connecting the Whale to the App before inserting and it would connect great but as soon as that little sucker got in there the connection would be lost. Eventually I worked out that if I had my phone right next to my pussy, I would get enough of a connection to at least work through the pre-set Kegel training exercise.

Great that I found a way to get it to work, not so great I basically needed to insert my phone too.

So, what was going on?

Well I feel that because my Kegels where so tight and toned that I was basically sucking this little Whale in. All that I was left with was the little tail fin sticking out. I believe this was interfering with the signal between the Whale and the App.

To test your Kegels, you must squeeze down on the toy to register the strength, but for me I couldn’t keep the fattest part of the whale in place. Like I say it was like my Kegels where so tight they just sucked the product in, leaving me squeezing the small tail which wasn’t helpful in any way.

The thing that worried me most about this, was the fact that during use if it didn’t have the little tail fin I would have engulfed the whole thing completely.  (shocked face) hehe. Making me glad I picked this variation of the product and not one without the tail fin.

Although I didn’t find the Kegel training any good for me, if you have problems with leaking of urine or weaker Kegels this product may work for you.

For me the operating of this product was not good. It was complicated, and I had problems with connection right next to me never mind if my partner was trying to connect and operate from another country.

I was able to climax with this product but only when I pressed the Doctor Whale against my clitoris and not when inserted.

Doctor Whale is meant to press against your G spot and the Tail is supposed to vibrate to provide stimulation of the clitoris.

My problem was that when inserted, the tail was nowhere near my clitoris and even if it was the tail does not have a separate vibration from the main unit. This meant that the vibrations in the tail are minimal. The only way I could have an orgasm with this toy was to hold the main unit against my clit.

I can say that when Doctor Whale was not inserted it connect to the App with no problems and KD was able to play about with all the setting which he enjoyed.

As much as this product didn’t work the way we think it was meant to we were able to find a way to make it work for us just using it as a clitoral toy.

The Doctor Whale is 100% waterproof, so you can use it in the bath or shower if you wish.

For me the Doctor Whale didn’t really work, I feel this was because my Kegels are already strong and toned. So, for me any pleasure or training with the product inserted was pointless.

I was able to achieve climax, but this was using the whole unit pressed against my clit with my husband overseeing the App and controls.

The Doctor Whale is a great idea, and I would hope that for someone looking to strengthen their Kegel muscles this product could work for them.

It’s a fairly quiet product, which is lightweight and has a lot of settings and features.

Unfortunately for me I didn’t have a whale of a time.

If you would like to try the Doctor Whale for yourself, you can buy it now from Sistalk through Amazon for USD $79.99.
